Mrs. Denise Larner
I have been a teacher in the Archdiocese of Phila. for awhile. I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from West Chester State University. I also took graduate courses in Reading at West Chester State University. I am certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. I also have my Religion Certification from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. I have had 19 years experience in sacramental preparation.
I believe Catholic education based on religious beliefs and values, enables children to grow in their understanding of themselves, their relationship with God and their relationship with others.
As a teacher, I diligently work to instill a love for learning. In my classroom, I use a variety of strategies, methods and materials to instruct and assess my students individualized needs. I keep abreast of the many advances in education by attending continuing education classes and in-service meetings. I am very excited to be working at St. Katharine Drexel Regional School. I look forward to teaching the second grade children and meeting their parents.
